這些低脂的音樂應可自己說話，不再贅言。
但有些附註：
Jarrett/Peacock/DeJohnette 的 Tales of Another 這個錄音實在沒有受到應有的重視，大約主因是以 Peacock 名字為樂團主領。但它才真正顯露出這三個人原本可以創造出的奇妙境界，不是下半輩子都躲在老歌裡的那堆唱片可以夢見的。
L. Subramaniam/ L. Shankar 這家弟兄們的小提琴音樂，是我們未來會詳細介紹的主題。先解釋一下印度人的姓名慣例。南印度人是沒有家族姓氏的。沒錯。一人只有一名字，沒有姓。所以 L. Subramaniam 的 L. 是他們爸爸的名 Lakshminarayana 的縮寫。換句話說，L. Subramaniam 的兒女的名字會是 S. XXX。北印度人名字系統也很亂，比如 tabla 前輩 Alla Rakha 的親生兒子叫 Zakir Hussain。所以不能以 last name 來看他們的血源關係。聽說有些滿人漢化以後也是以父名為姓，同一邏輯。
另外，L. Subramaniam 絕版十多年了的唱片 Garland 終於在不久前剛發行了 CD，就單為了其中那兩首曲子也值。
最後一首是 Blue Mitchell 的黑膠老片，味足，但因時間不夠，我把它在電腦上剪了一刀，把小喇叭與電鋼琴之間的 Herman Riley 的 tenor 獨奏給切掉了，不過切得極準，和弦進行及氣勢都沒打斷。抱歉了 Riley 老兄，但後面 Joe Sample 的那段電鋼琴實在太過癮了。
